Healthy Habits. This is going to be a a topic that I will revisit and each time I will highlight something that is good for you to do on a regular basis.
Here is the definition of “Habit”.

Today’s “Healthy Habit” is going to be…
BRUSHING YOUR TEETH 😁
I was never good at doing this growing up. I was told from time to time to brush my teeth but nobody really encouraged the habit often. Now, and I mean recently, I have begun to brush my teeth more often than I have in my whole life. This past year I may have brushed my teeth more than the previous three. It is easy yet for some reason I always ignored it.
I can tell you that my teeth are much whiter and less slimy 🤮 and my breath less offensive.
You don’t have to brush them to perfection but with routine brushing you will be able to keep your perfect smiles. The next step is timing, perhaps after a meal and frequency, perhaps twice daily. You can brush more often if you like but preventing what is leftover in your mouth and teeth from sitting for too long is the point.
Preventing cavities and gum disease is done with the same effort as a clean smile and a clean smile is a healthy one.
Flossing (or cleaning in between the teeth) is really to get what the toothbrush is not able to and will prevent any leftover food from causing any trouble.
The less bacteria in your mouth due to leftover food the better.
I am going to continue making brushing my teeth a routine behavior and I am already seeing the benefit of this effort.
