I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today I want to talk about Drawing and other ways to create visual art and express yourself in a fun way.

Whether it’s a crayon, pencil, paint brush or any other tool we might use when we draw we are creating visual art.

It may be a single color or colors or black and white (which are colors too of course) the intent is to transfer from your mind to hand to a surface via the instrument an image (our fingers are instruments too, ever tried finger painting?)

There are techniques and concepts that can help you create art but there is no wrong way to express yourself when it comes to drawing (this is true for any art form).

Let it be fun and do not be hard on yourself when drawing. The more you draw the better you will get and the more techniques you study and practice the more difficult types of things you can draw will be in your capability.

The different types of tools you can use are many but true for all of them is practice makes progress.

Drawing is a fun way to be creative and can be something that gives you a way to make something that is just as unique as you. All of our favorite cartoon characters started in someone’s head and were birthed by something like a pencil in hand to paper.

There are many videos online and books that teach you how to improve your skill at drawing.

Give yourself time and with practice and patience you will be drawing things you never thought possible.
