Today I want to talk about relaxation.

To me relaxing and resting are different.

You might find something relaxing that will then require rest afterward. One example of this is for me is HOT YOGA 🔥🧘

I find it incredibly relaxing even though I may be pouring sweat and breathing heavy because of the amount of focus required for me to commit to the practice the way I prefer.

Some activities can be both relaxing and assist in recovery. One example of this for me is YOGA NIDRA 😌🧘‍♀️

With my eyes closed I will often listen to a podcast, audiobooks or music made specifically to induce relaxation. This provides an experience that is both relaxing and once complete rejuvenating. Although it does not include the recovery of deep rest sleep it does give me a boost that is undeniable.
