I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today I have a post about MAIL 📬

I have written hundreds of letters to you and also have written hundreds of post on our blog 🤩

Back in the day letters would be delivered by hand via mostly two ways. Someone would literally walk from one person sharing the message to the intended recipient and deliver the message by either saying the message or leave them with a written message. This person was known as the messenger.

Later the process would include the messenger traveling by horseback as well as by boat.

The US Postal service as well as other organizations would then begin to deliver multiple messages to various recipients on a single trip.

The process later included the use of electricity for the first time using Morse Code (more on this in tomorrow’s post) which sped up the ability to deliver messages over a long distance faster than horseback.

Later the ability to send e mail and text message made it possible to deliver a message from one to another in nearly the same time as if there was a face to face experience with no messenger required at least when compared to previous methods.

In some ways depending on how fast someone can compose a message and how fast someone can digest the message received, if the moment the message was sent the recipient was able to retrieve that message, the length of time for a message to be shared face to face could be actually longer❕

Pretty cool how communication has evolved over time 🗣️🐴✉️💻
