Below is a pic of me under the “Wolf Moon”

The Wolf Moon is the first full moon in January.

It is said the name comes from the belief that in the winter months while hunting, wolves would howl at the full moon as a sign of a long winter.

If no howls were heard it is said that this indicates there would not be a long winter.

In reality the wolves are probably vocalizing to other wolves the way they would on any other occasion howling was heard.

For the record, I did howl.
