Today for you I have a post about Astrology.

It is with intent that yesterday’s post was Astronomy and today being Astrology.

I would confuse the two previously from time to time however interestingly enough the two were one historically. After the scientific revolution Astronomy became a science and Astrology remained an interpretation of the cosmos.

There are different versions of Astrology having Western, Chinese and Indian roots.

The “Horoscope” comes from astrological information regarding “Zodiac Signs” that predict information and assign characteristics with respect to celestial bodies positioning on a birth date.

Zodiac Signs come from the suns position throughout the day and “constellations” (groups of stars that form recognizable patterns) proximity near the sun at that time of day during 12 points on the suns “ecliptic” (the path the sun travels from rise to set) thus 12 zodiac signs.

Astrology has been practiced for thousands of years and as early as 2000 BCE (Before Common Era).

I know some people that practice astrology and it is a fascinating conversation when speaking with someone who is not only familiar but a believer of astrology.

Here are some interesting facts about my astrological summary:
