I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today for you I have a post about when we think we are sick and when we are actually sick.

I would say that most of the time when we are sick we know before anyone has to tell us or even when it becomes obvious to ourself or others. We notice in the days just before our illness is “official” that we might be coming down with something “icky”.

When we are feeling well and with having experienced illness before we know the difference between the two as a reference as to when we feel like we are possibly sick.

There are a few things that can give us “hints” that we may have something our body is fighting off and these hints are known as “symptoms”.

Symptoms can be the usual symptoms associated with an illness however we may also over time develop our own reference with symptoms specific to our familiarity with any time we have been ill.

There also may be no observable or obvious symptoms present before or even during illness.

I am not giving medical advice but sharing with you what I learned from my experiences with illness and my main point is to let you know that in my opinion it is very important to pay attention to our mind (thoughts and emotional feelings) and body (energy and physical feelings) to be aware of how you typically feel each and every day to notice and recognize more easily the moments we observe we are feeling different and what happens next after the times we notice a difference.

Your awareness of your mind and body and the healthy well rested version of yourself can be an important reference throughout your experience of life when you want or need a goal as to what you are seeking as how to feel if feeling ill or pain in any way.

Next time you think you are getting sick observe the feelings present when this thought occurs and again perhaps before you go to sleep and when you wake up the next day and each and everyday day while you are sick to check back in with your observation of how you feel so you can be familiar with your body’s process when becoming ill, throughout the sickness and when recovering until fully past the illness for future considerations.
