I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today, for you, I have a post about patience.

Patience is something that I am glad that I am working on. The older I get the more patience I have or at least the higher capacity for patience I possess.

It has served me well practicing patience in many things and in many ways.

The thing that has taught me patience the most is waiting to see you guys. I miss you dearly yet because other factors are involved it is unfortunately not just up to me when it comes to when I see you.

I like how it is said one “practices patience” not just “has” patience. Although it is something we can do (wait), patience in my opinion is something we get better at with practice and the awareness of what it feels like to practice patience and why it is beneficial only comes with experience.

The difference between staring at a clock waiting for something to start or be done and being able to enjoy the present moment and the time in between is having experience with practicing patience.

Good things and great things can often take time. Try not to sour the moments before, during or after by letting that period of time take away from the experience but enhance the experience by utilizing that time period as another positive consideration of appreciation.

The time it took may have been longer than desired but it only made that moment of arrival that much sweeter.
