Today, for you, I have a post about the recent news that scientist have brought back from extinction (unextinction) the Dire Wolf. 🐺

It is truly the story of Jurassic Park how this was done. With DNA that was extracted from a sample from the bones of the extinct Dire Wolf and using DNA from modern Grey Wolves to fill in the missing information needed to complete the Dire Wolf DNA sequence, scientist had what was needed to bring from the past into our time an extinct creature.

Since there were no Dire Wolves to give birth to the pups another animal was chosen for “Mom duties” (allegedly a large “hound”).

Six months ago but only recently revealed, the hound produced two male pups “Romulus and Remus” and their sister, a female pup named “Khaleesi”.

Pretty wild as they are beautiful and wild. Here is a video of the recent achievement below:
