I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today, for you, I have a post about exercise.

I do not expect you to have a regular exercise routine at your age but there are many benefits to mindful movement.

Stretching is quick and easy and helps with mobility and well being.

Meditation can help and really just closing your eyes and focusing on your breath for only a couple of minutes can help with energy and well being.

Walking outdoors can help especially after meals when walking for at least 10 minutes.

Another thing you can do is starting with your feet, flex each muscle and work your way up to your head flexing one muscle at a time so that you have flexed each muscle or each part of your body. This helps with the mind/muscle connection and helps overall well being.

Another thing is something I have mentioned before and that is yoga nidra. You do not need to fall asleep to feel like you took a nap when closing your eyes and laying still for a few minutes. Even a couple of minutes of yoga nidra can help with well being and energy.

Playing a sport that involves moving your body is a fun way to exercise and so is dancing❕

Anytime you can mix in body movement when playing you are not only having fun but also doing something that will benefit your health and well being.

This is not the first or last post on mindful movement and that is because I know it is beneficial.
