Today, for you, I have a post about my experience on this year’s “Father’s Day”.

The word of the day is picnic however today it was a barbecue not a picnic that I attended.

I mentioned you both and thought about you both even more throughout the day. I met with your Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle and also saw your cousins (although only one was at the bbq and the other by chance when picking up supplies for dinner at the grocery store) and we enjoyed some burgers and brats (the “hotdog” kind).

Your Aunt was kind enough to pay for the supplies that made up our meal, it was hosted by your grandpa and I was the one tending the grill for the occasion 🧑‍🍳. I enjoy cooking as I have mentioned previously and I wanted to contribute in a way that it would also allow the meat to be seasoned expertly 😉

It was a beautiful day and the vibe was chill. It was nice seeing our relatives and I know your grandpa appreciated having his kids over at his house on “Father’s Day”.

The holiday is something that in ways, I celebrate every day as a father because thinking of you guys always makes me feeling grateful and happy regardless of my mood and always gives me a legitimate reason to celebrate.

I am the luckiest father in the world.

The holiday is for fathers but we would not be fathers without our kids. So this holiday is actually because of you.

So… THANKS!
