Today, for you, I have a post about creating vibes with different types of smells.
The use of “aromatherapy” (therapeutic value in smells) is a very old concept. Some of our ancestors were aware of the value that a certain scent could have when present in various context.
One scent that helps with relaxation is the scent of Lavender. Lavender is a flower that produces a pleasant floral scent that if it were to be burned in its dried form in a bedroom (safely) or perhaps sprayed in its scent extracted form with a spray bottle onto a pillowcase, it could assist in relaxing before falling asleep perhaps increasing how quickly you were able to fall asleep once you wanted to do so.
Another scent that helps with vibe is the scent of peppermint. Peppermint is a herb that is a cross between 2 other herbs, watermint and spearmint. The smell that peppermint produces is known to promote focus and energy so if you were to have something giving off the scent of peppermint nearby when studying for school, it could help with the vibe of productivity.
Another scent that is an old and popular relaxation and cleansing scent is that of Sage. I myself am a big fan of sage because I really enjoy the smell and I also find it relaxing. There are those that believe it also helps remove negative energy and with the removal of this energy helps create and maintain a positive vibe. It is often used in yoga studios. I myself use it around my apartment and sometimes will burn dry sage near the clothes I am wearing to use it as a natural “cologne”.
We know that smells can cause us to behave in certain ways the way that coffee and bacon in the morning can produce a smell that gets people out of bed and how the scent of a fart will drive us into the corner of a room where nobody is present in order to not bring unwanted attention to ourself in association with the smell of poo.
I like to create and maintain vibes, one thing that helps with this for me that is not a scent, is the thought of YOU. You always increase the positive vibes when you are present or when the thought of you is on my mind.
