Today, for you, I have a post about how to say the days of the week in Spanish and French.

Every once in a while I will challenge myself to remember the days of the week in Spanish and sometimes when thinking about the a particular day I will say out loud the Spanish version of that day following the English version.

After today’s post I will begin to do this with French as well.

Here are the days of the week in Spanish and French:

Spanish (Español)
• Monday → Lunes (LOO-nes)
• Tuesday → Martes (MAR-tes)
• Wednesday → Miércoles (MYER-co-les)
• Thursday → Jueves (HWEH-ves)
• Friday → Viernes (VYER-nes)
• Saturday → Sábado (SAH-bah-do)
• Sunday → Domingo (do-MEEN-go)

• Monday → Lundi (lun-DEE)
• Tuesday → Mardi (mar-DEE)
• Wednesday → Mercredi (mehr-cruh-DEE)
• Thursday → Jeudi (zhuh-DEE)
• Friday → Vendredi (von-druh-DEE)
• Saturday → Samedi (sam-DEE)
• Sunday → Dimanche (dee-MAHNSH)
