Today, for you, I have a post about my upcoming decision on what car I will be purchasing… or not.

I have been waiting for the right time to get a vehicle and I have been without a vehicle for over 2 years now.

I made it through last winter getting to all the various places I needed to go relying on public transportation and walking.

There were a number of times that I had to endure the elements that made me want a vehicle but in the months when the weather is nice I could not justify purchasing a vehicle for convenience.

However the considerations have changed with our upcoming visits. Although I will be moving closer to you after next semester at the end of my lease in the time before I will need to drive from where I am to see you and back which is over a 2 hour roundtrip.

When I went to see you previously I borrowed my sisters car but this won’t be possible at the rate I will be seeing you in the near future so the time has come to get a car.

My initial thought was to get a car that would be the best deal possible that would be reliable, could fit all of us comfortably and was within my budget.

I have also considered leasing a car but at the end of the lease you turn in the vehicle and I would like to have a car that is paid off so I have both a car and no car payment.

If I get a lease I will not have the ability to have a car with no payment because you never pay it off.

It really comes down to what makes the most sense and if I do a lease it would be with the intention to get a car after that which I could pay off and keep and I would only get a lease if the deal is amazing.

We shall see what the choice will be and I am trying to wait until Black Friday to save money and potentially at the latest the beginning of next year because that is typically when you would be able to get the best deals.

I will let you know (and show you) what I decide and as of right now I am partial to a Jeep Wrangler because I use to have one and I was very fond of that vehicle.
