Today, for you, I have a post about inventions.

Today’s “This day in history” features a fact about one of America’s most famous inventors, Thomas Edison.

You may or may not know this but your grandma and grandpa (my parents) both hold patents certified and official from the US Patent office.

When you create an invention some want to be able to have documentation that shows who was the official inventor of the idea or product and this is done by registering your idea or invention with the US Patent office.

Below are pictures of the two inventions.

In a nutshell both inventions were meant to make jobs easier for those that could use them and many have in fact used these inventions.

On October 21, 1879 — Inventor Thomas Edison successfully tested a workable electric light-bulb in his laboratory at Menlo Park, New Jersey
