Today, for you, I have a post about “choose your own adventure” books.

A choose your own adventure book is an interesting type of book because you get to interact with the story (or stories) in the book by making choices that create different versions of the story depending on the choices you make.

One series of choose your own adventure books that was popular when I was a kid was called “The Hardy Boys”.

The stories that you can get out of one book could be sometimes a dozen or more.

There can only be one choice made that can alter the story in a very different way and depending on when that choice was made it might seem like the same story until you get to the end which I think is pretty cool because how much a different ending can change a story can make the story feel entirely different even with the same beginning and middle.

I bet there are a bunch of new series of choose your own adventure and perhaps some can be found for free digitally. I will take a look.

I found a few websites under a google search for “choose your own adventure stories free”. There are some websites that do not require a login and I would recommend those but make sure they are secure (https: at the beginning of the url).
