I LOVE YOU ๐
Howl you doingโ
I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home ๐ฅฐ
Today, for you, I have a post inspired from the “This Day In History” fact and it is about different types of ways we can document something for one to later be able to examine what was documented (may or may not be the same person examining later that documented what may be observed). In other words, intentionally saving data.
I have made post about similar concepts previously but this is one of those subject matters where I do not mind repeating or overlapping with previous subject matter discussed on our blog because the context allows us to revisit what I believe to be an important concept and or the ability to expand on a concept mentioned previously in whatever way intended.
The “This Day In History” fact mentions the phonograph and previous to inventions like the phonograph humans had limited ways to document whatever it was they wanted to be able to go back to observe with that intention. Some of the ways of the time (and still methods used today) were word of mouth, reading/writing, and creative methods such as art and song.
Imagine living in a world where the only way you have to save information that is important to you is remembering, telling somebody and hope they remember (or if it was important telling someone just in case you forget and not relying on that person alone), write it down, or try to get creative and perhaps create an image or a “meme” that is a collection of items in an image that all have a specific meaning that supports the intent when created (if remembering was the intent) or perhaps turn the message or data into a song (maybe singing a phone number to the tune of the ABC’s).
To have another way to save information (and by the way I did not list the only ways one would attempt to save information but some of the ones that first came to mind) could be the way that you end up saving most of your information potentially optimizing a work flow that was working for you and now with the additional ability having a way to fit that ability into your mix somehow improving your quality of life.
At minimum it is nice to have another option when considering how you would go about saving data of any kind and since the invention of the phonograph we as humans have come up with a number of new ways to save information for later observation.
What is your favorite way to save information (data)โ
I LOVE YOUโ

THIS DAY IN HISTORY FEBRUARY 19 1878:
Thomas Edison receives patent for the "Phonograph". The phonograph was a machine that could record and play back sound. Huge for the advancement of the ability to document via alternative methods such as reading and writing.
