¿ 6 or 9 ?

GOOD MORNING TO THE SON AND THE SKY❕👋🏼

I LOVE YOU 💓

Howl you doing❓

I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today, for you, I have a post about the “pre telescope” era and what the Universe has “looked like”.

The observable universe on a clear night pre telescope was pre electricity.

Ship navigators utilized hand held telescopes to observe passing ships and to get intel on the beachhead previous to landfall among other uses while at sea and would even be useful once on land when scouting potential paths for example.

The experience for roughly 90 percent of all humans who have lived in recorded history (history being a narrative based on a true story rather than the account as it was).

For ‘history” to be something that was real it would need to be something that reference a first hand account with someone who was there when the thing happened that was than used as reference of one person’s perspective who was at the event and witnessed themself in a way that there account is that of first hand and not dependent on another’s narrative to document the experience with the mention of the individual whom would be sharing with the “pages of history” their honest account of what it was they experienced that day.

One thing that is not in the history books that anybody who has ever read a history book would be able to tell you about is that person’s opinion of the night sky.

You do not need to read a history book to know the truth about how you felt the last time you looked up at the stars.

What I find fascinating is how something that is not in a “History book” is something that we all have in common in a way that whatever history book you have there is a student on the other side of the world with a history book that disagrees yet whoever it was on the other side of the world would be able to relate to the truth the way anyone could that they have an opinion on the contents of the night sky.

That is one of the reasons why some people say HIS story rather than HISstory with an example of why being the fact that it is commonly understood (not taught in schools typically) that history is often written by the victor. That means whoever is around after a war being those who tell the story (story that of the “victor”). With those that would dispute any narative claimed to be the truth having no way of representing their side “the losing side of the war” because nobody who saw anything in person was still alive to share their side of the story or of those left not able to convince those who believed what was told to be true by the “winning side” being not what was observed by witnesses who have first hand accounts but those accounts not cosigned by the “official” narrative being the narrative the government public refers to.

Before telescopes you could only see 6 planets if you count Earth.

Uranus was the 6th planet discovered (7th if you count Earth). The order the planets were “discovered” only takes in account the era beginning with the discovery of Uranus.

You can see the first 5 planets using your eyes without magnification being necessary to see the “dots” that are the planets in the night sky so ancient humans had been aware for thousands of years already by the time Uranus was discovered that there were at least 6 planets (counting Earth) in our Solar System. Humans had already been aware for millennia that there was a difference between a star and a planet without using those words to illustrate a concept.

So the “discovery” of planets in our solar system for the most part really only refers to planets discovered using technology other than the human eyeball to see the planet, otherwise you did not discover but observe the planet.

The history of mankind having a historically similar experience for the most of human history are usually not the type of stories you read in history books that are apart of a curriculum at a school that receives tax incentives on behalf on the host countries government where the school’s campus would hold classes.

Most people who have ever lived thought there was only 6 planets. How much of a difference do you think it makes that we know there are now 9… uncless you do not believe Pluto is a planet and the fact we do not agree as a species that Pluto is a planet or not speaks to my curiosity that exist in the question… how much of a difference does it make for most who might consider that question.
