Today, for you, I have a post about a new segment on our blog that will be replacing yesterday’s soon to be updated post explaining why.

The new segment is going to be a rehashing of previous “This Day In History” however rather than a fact associated with that date it will be something I observed when searching the day’s date in the search bar and see what results pop up.

Some of the results are actually the specific date from last year (which is cool having actually historical reference on our blog of historical dates now available in a way that anything historically was available now being apart of that same “universe” as historical archived data.

The term rehash in the context of our blog I would define as revisit with the intent to interpret differently .

What was noticed: "Wheels on the Bus" and "Retro Upgrade" were post associated with today's date
What came to mind: I think of the upgrades that car's have gone through since they were introduced and what some of those innovations that were introduced later having themself evolved significantly since introduction like the car antenna for example. Initially it was adding the ability to have something like AM radio. Later antenna's include cellar and satellite antennas. It could be possible that someone could see that "upgrading" would not buying the latest evolution of that model but the model that is new to them and in a way the new car has upgraded the label "used car" to "new car".  In another way the modern bells and whistles might not appeal to someone who would only want the ability to commute so stripping the vehicle down would upgrade their financial freedom and the car would be more retro.
