Today for you I have a post about progress towards you❕
I have two important court dates in the next month that will allow me to be one step closer to spending time with you.
I have done all that is asked and recommended in order to be able to see you and in my opinion it has been a process that has left me disappointed in our legal / civil systems and the vulnerability of exploit that exists within but grateful that with my LOVE for you as motivation nothing seems like something I will not be able to overcome.
However I have never and will never give up on doing all I can to see you again in person. All I can say is every day I think about you and it keeps me happy while having to jump through every unreasonable yet worthwhile hoop along the way.
There have been many steps taken so far that have brought me closer to you and with each step a celebration and increased momentum and reminder of motivation while not knowing exactly how many steps are left.
Hip Hip Hooray for one step closer❕
💪🏼 One step closer❕♥️💙

When I say future, in a way, I mean our future but also my future and your future.
When I become distracted or observe thoughts of doubt I remind myself to return to my intent and with whatever it was I was doing by saying these two things which are connected.
First I say either “I love my kids” or “Eyes to the future” and then second I will say the other and most often repeat or close with “I love my kids”.
These two phrases are meant to release me from what has captured my attention with something more powerful than my thoughts and that is my love for you. The phrase about the future honestly means “think about my kids” and our shared future which I cannot wait to experience again.
“I love my kids” is said with the literal intent to declare and speak my love for you into the universe.
What do you do when you notice you have become distracted❓

I have a country vocal melody that I wrote years ago that today I did a rough recording in one take with no editing, mixing or post production of any kind. The challenge is to incorporate the vocal recording into a complete song.
There will not be a time frame attached to this challenge however my intention is to complete the challenge before posting a new music challenge and I want to do one music challenge a month in 2025 starting today.
I like the idea of monthly music challenges so it keeps me motivated and accountable with something that I want to do and also something unique to share with you that represents me.
Here is the vocal recording that I will be incorporating into a song
I will post the result of the “challenge complete” version as soon as it is done.
“EYES TO THE FUTURE“ is a preview of tomorrow’s post.

Today I have a post about something that I can describe in a single word that until I knew the definition of this word would have taken no less than multiple sentences in order to touch on each aspect of one thing thematically that I thoroughly enjoy. That word is Gastronomy however the concept I am highlighting today is that of the example I shared of the ability to say many things while only having to say one thing.
Before I get into why I am a fan and student of Gastronomy I want to expand on this concept of embedding information within information and how it can be both efficient and more precise while also being potentially counter productive.
First in order to illustrate the point I am trying to make here is the definition of Gastronomy:
Gastronomy refers to the study and practice of preparing, cooking, and appreciating food. It goes beyond just eating; it's the art, science, and cultural appreciation of food and cooking. Gastronomy encompasses everything from the ingredients and techniques used to cook meals to the history, traditions, and social aspects surrounding food in different cultures.
It also involves the exploration of food pairings, regional cuisines, and the sensory experience of food, like how it looks, smells, and tastes.
For example, French gastronomy is known for its rich culinary traditions and techniques, while Italian gastronomy celebrates simple, high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes passed down through generations.
If you and I did not know what “Gastronomy” is and means I would have only been able to share with you the intended message by stating the definition of gastronomy in a way that in my own words share each portion of the definition as separate components of something that I can connect only by way of including the theme of “what about and why I enjoy meals I have prepared”.
I would say I appreciate meals I have prepared because of the following: I know what the meal is comprised of to include not just the ingredients but what type if any the ingredient is via the information available having acquired the ingredients myself with the ability to read the “nutrition facts” if the ingredient is something that is multiple things unlike a single ingredient like broccoli (only ingredient in broccoli is broccoli) versus an ingredient like salted butter which has no less than 2 ingredients those being salt and butter and that being said it still does not provide information like the ratio of salt to butter and what type of dairy was used to make the butter.
Everything I just said about appreciating the knowledge of the information available when acquiring the ingredients myself could fall under the word “science” or “culture” that is used in the definition of Gastronomy.
Now without having to get into why I like plating my food I could refer to the word “Art” in Gastronomy’s definition but without only one of us not being familiar with gastronomy I would then need to go on to say how I like plating my food in a way that it is ascetically pleasing with respect to portion size as it appears as a part of a whole when looking at the plate not considering everything on the plate individually but as a single visual item to include the colors, the textures, the balance and ratio of the items with respect to one another and the plate.
I have been learning to cook for a couple decades now. i am not just learning how to cook as a way to produce a specific meal but the techniques and methods I have learned over time has been with the intent to improve my ability and understanding of the science that is involved in able to do so yet it is not the science that was the thing I was learning as my intention but as a result of a means to an end for the actual intention to be able to prepare on my own the ability to enjoy some of my favorite dishes. This speaks to the word “eating” in the definition of gastronomy.
Now to revisit the concept of the potential negative aspect of communicating using information with information embedded within as a way to effectively convey a specific intended message.
If the recipient of the intended message is not aware of the “loaded” words definition ( a loaded word is how I am describing a word that is not one thing specifically but a word that contains by definition multiple subject matters all with there own potentially complexed definitions) one of two things could be possible as the result. The first possibility is the recipient does not ask for clarification because they are able to use the context surrounding the word as a way of making sense of what is being shared and is comfortable potentially not clearly understanding what is being shared and understands enough to satisfy the intention of honestly listening yet the messenger is unaware this is the result. The second possibility (not to say only two possibilities exist but these two possibilities came to mind as a way of explaining the concept I am sharing) is the recipient doesn’t know the definition and does not attempt or care to clarify or use the context surrounding the unknown word and because of this decides to focus on what was shared previous and after the unknown word used in the message shared with them and if and when the messenger asks if what was shared was understood the recipient says yes causing the messenger to feel. Confident the message was shared and understood while that not being true.
Both possibilities I described have the result potentially including confusion between what was said and heard revealed through future experiences by the recipient in the form of a misunderstanding discovered when providing feedback to the messenger now requiring further explanation and if time is of the essence the wasted time being the negative aspect. Another possibility with the negative aspect is the recipient is left with a set of incomplete or factually inaccurate information that was needed for future experiences that are important enough to warrant the request via the recipient or with the best interest of the recipient in mind provided by the messenger and the purpose of having the conversation previous to the experience causing negative consequences.
To say it without examples, if the reason for sharing the information is important, although time can be saved using loaded words it makes more sense to take the time and say all that can be said with the emphasis being to say what is going to give the highest probability of the recipient understanding the message in a way that there is the lowest probability to what can be misinterpreted or having questions remain with respect to the clarity desired by recipient or the messenger’s intent and meaning of message.

Today I have a post about the United Nations Education Science Communication Organization known as UNESCO.
I have without knowing made a reference in a previous post to UNESCO by mentioning one of the things that UNESCO is responsible for and that is the post about World Heritage sites that were also “Wonders of the World”.
I did not know anything about UNESCO until yesterday’s post about Yellowstone National Park and through the research of the post’s subject matter for the interesting facts, I learned that and with the 10th fact shared mentioned the designation of Yellowstone being a “World Heritage Site”.
The definition of a “World Heritage Site” and additional interesting facts about UNESCO are below:
World Heritage Sites: One of UNESCO’s most well-known initiatives is its World Heritage Sites program. There are over 1,100 sites globally, ranging from cultural landmarks (like the Pyramids of Egypt) to natural wonders (like the Great Barrier Reef in Australia).
Founded in 1945: UNESCO was created in the aftermath of World War II to promote peace through educational, scientific, and cultural cooperation. The idea was to foster international understanding to prevent future conflicts.
Global Education Advocate: UNESCO advocates for quality education worldwide. It works to ensure that education is accessible to everyone, particularly marginalized groups, such as girls and people with disabilities.
Languages and Linguistic Diversity: UNESCO recognizes the importance of language and cultural diversity. It has declared 2008-2017 as the "International Decade for the Promotion of a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World." They also work to preserve endangered languages and promote multilingualism.
Intangible Cultural Heritage: UNESCO also protects traditions, performing arts, rituals, and other intangible cultural practices. Examples include flamenco from Spain, yoga from India, and the French culinary art of "gastronomy."
International Collaboration: UNESCO is based in Paris, France, but has offices around the world and partners with governments, universities, NGOs, and other international organizations. It works on a wide variety of issues including climate change, gender equality, and media freedom.
Freedom of Expression: UNESCO is a key player in promoting freedom of expression and a free press. It supports the safety of journalists and the free flow of information across borders, recognizing that a free press is essential to democracy and human rights.
UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors: Many famous individuals, including musicians, actors, and artists, have been appointed as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors to help raise awareness for its causes. Some of these ambassadors include Angelina Jolie, Shakira, and Herbie Hancock.
Science for Sustainability: UNESCO is involved in promoting science and research that helps countries tackle global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and access to clean water.
Specialized Agencies: UNESCO is one of the specialized agencies of the United Nations, with a mandate that crosses many disciplines, from education and science to culture and communication.
For an organization that I just found out about yesterday, I must say that I can appreciate all of the facts above and would like to see more organizations and individuals with a similar list of priorities or at least an appreciation for those who put forth effort towards some of the things that UNESCO is known for.

Today for you I have a post about a park. Not just any park but a National Park. Not just a National Park but Yellowstone National Park.
Yellowstone is the only National Park that I knew by name without having to verify.
In my words a National Park is a specific area of land that has been designated as “Public” land (meaning it belongs to all US citizens) and is protected and managed by the federal government (National Park Service) 🏕️
I have never been to this historic park and one day my intention is to visit and see for myself what is so understandably majestic about Yellowstone.
Here are some interesting facts about Yellowstone.
1. First National Park: Yellowstone, established in 1872, is the world’s first national park. 2. Supervolcano: The park sits atop a massive supervolcano, known as the Yellowstone Caldera, which last erupted approximately 640,000 years ago. 3. Geysers and Hot Springs: Yellowstone has more than 500 geysers—over half of the world’s total—including Old Faithful, which erupts roughly every 90 minutes. 4. Size: The park spans parts of three states: Wyoming (most of the park), Montana, and Idaho, covering about 3,472 square miles. 5. Wildlife Haven: Yellowstone is home to diverse wildlife, including bison, elk, grizzly bears, wolves, and bald eagles. It’s the only place in the U.S. where bison have lived continuously since prehistoric times. 6. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone: The park features its own stunning canyon, carved by the Yellowstone River, with dramatic waterfalls and colorful rock formations. 7. Thermal Features: Along with geysers, the park boasts mud pots, fumaroles, and hot springs, including the vibrant Grand Prismatic Spring, known for its rainbow-colored waters. 8. Historic Structures: The Old Faithful Inn, built in 1904, is one of the largest log structures in the world and a National Historic Landmark. 9. Frequent Earthquakes: Yellowstone experiences around 1,000 to 3,000 small earthquakes annually, most too small to be felt, due to its volcanic activity. 10. UNESCO World Heritage Site: Yellowstone was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978 for its geological and ecological significance. UNESCO is the United Nations Education Science Communication Organization (without specifically mentioning UNESCO it has been a part of previous post and will be tomorrow’s post focus).

Today I have a post about something in music known as a “Remix”.
It was not something that was done for the MAJORity of music that has ever been recorded yet in the past few decades it has become increasingly popular.
Basically a remix is a version of a song that was previously recorded that uses parts of the original song along with additional new parts to the song (sometimes even the new parts are not original and are made up of parts from other songs and sounds from various recordings) and the result is a new recording usually with the original song title incorporated in the name of the new “record”.
Sometimes people like the remix more than the original even though if it was not for the original the remix would not exist.
I used to think a remix was an inferior version of an original song because more often than not I preferred the original over the remix and most importantly the creative process involved in making the original is doing the “heavy lifting” when it comes to the creation of the remix by incorporating most often the more memorable parts of the original.
I now think that the remix is a completely different song and was inspired by the original with a acknowledgement of appreciation by way of selecting the song to use as inspiration and not a shortcut.
Two things changed my mind and the first was when remixes became a thing the remix was done by someone other than the original recording artist. Now it is common for an artist to release a song that is accompanied by several remixes also created by the original artist or the original artist collaborating with whoever is doing the remix.
The other thing was I now have some remixes I prefer over the original and my favorite parts or part of the remix is the part or parts that were not present during the original recording that was created by the remix artist.
Do you have a song that you like that has been remixed? Is there a song you would like to see have a remix?
Here is an example of a song I love and also a remix of that song which I actually like more.

Today’s post is about a city you know well, Grand Rapids❕
Grand Rapids has become one of my favorite cities for multiple reasons.
I like walking around downtown especially at night when the weather is nice. All the bridges are beautifully lit and there is a good amount of art and other cool things to look at while walking around. I also like the food scene 😋.
One of my favorite things about the city is it reminds me of you❕
Here are some interesting facts about Grand Rapids:
1. Furniture City – Grand Rapids is known as the “Furniture City” because of its historical significance as a major hub for furniture manufacturing. Even today, many top furniture companies, like Steelcase and Herman Miller, have roots in the area. 2.Gerald R. Ford’s Hometown – Grand Rapids is the birthplace of Gerald R. Ford, the 38th President of the United States. His presidential museum and burial site are both located in the city. 4. ArtPrize Festival – Grand Rapids hosts ArtPrize, one of the world’s largest public art competitions, attracting artists and visitors from around the globe. 5. The Grand River – The city is named after the Grand River, Michigan’s longest river. Efforts are underway to restore its historic rapids. (Nice❕) 6. Medical Innovation Hub – The city has a growing reputation in the healthcare industry, with top-tier medical research and hospitals like Spectrum Health and the Van Andel Institute. 7. First City to Fluoridate Water – In 1945, Grand Rapids became the first city in the world to add fluoride to its drinking water to help prevent tooth decay. 8. Close to Lake Michigan – While not directly on the lake, Grand Rapids is only about 30 miles from Lake Michigan, making it a great spot for beach lovers.
I like how the Grand River connects Lansing and Grand Rapids because it is the same river but different vibes when walking alongside it.

Today I have a post about some of the recent post with the pictures of cartoon wolves doing things that were mentioned in the post.
As you know I include an image of sone kind (most often a GIF) and recently I have been going with the theme being myself as a wolf doing things that were mentioned in the post that includes the image.
If you are curious how I have been doing this the answer is I have been collaborating with A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) to create these images. I enter in a specific description that I believe captures the essence of the post and an image is created that with a surprisingly high rate of satisfaction.
I normally search through a GIF library or search images with a search engine but if I do not have a real world photo I took myself (my favorite type of image to include) the collaboration method has recently been my “go to”.
The resulting image through the collaboration is in my opinion art. Although I did not create the image entirely myself, if you imagine the AI as a tool like a pencil it is similar that my hand still made it yet without the pencil my hand would not have been able to draw on its own.
The thing that is different with AI and a pencil with the above example is the pencil will only do what you make it do and the AI has a contribution to the creative aspect of the artistic process.
If I have an idea in mind of an image I want to include that summarizes the post with a theme and certain details I want to be present I use specific wording entered into the AI input and an image is created that I may use.
If I have an idea of something extremely specific I would create the image on my own through various methods.
When the idea is not extremely specific I have been having fun collaborating as a way of providing custom content to our blog.
The following “message” was used to create the image below: Create an image of a werewolf collaborating with AI to create custom artwork for a blog he has for communicating to his kids

Today I took on the “Carnivore Challenge” at Meat BBQ in Lansing, Michigan.
A carnivore is an animal that eats only meat. Animals like the Orca (Killer Whale), Komodo Dragon, Trapdoor Spider, Leopard Seal and Peregrine Falcon are carnivores.
The challenge weighs in at somewhere between 7-8 pounds of total weight❕
You win the challenge by completing the meal in 45 minutes or less and if you win the meal is free and you get a T Shirt as a trophy and have your picture taken and placed on the wall of victors.
I completed the first half of the meal which was a “side dish” of macaroni and cheese that you can add 2 types of meat. I chose double spicy jalapeño cheddar sausage. I said “side dish” with quotes because it could EASILY feed two hungry people and weighed around 3 pounds.
Once the mac and cheese was in me I was already 20 mins into the challenge. I thought I was closer to the 10 minute mark and after hearing I was already nearly halfway done with my time I still had a side of fries and then the star of the show the “Boss Log”. The Boss Log is a roughly 3-4 pound “Burger” that has bacon, turkey, pulled pork, brisket, onion rings and 3 types of cheese with a spicy mustard sauce.
I decided I was if I was to attempt to finish the challenge I would need to eat faster but I was already eating as fast aa I could while being safe not to choke.
I ended up getting the rest to go. A wise move and now I can enjoy the rest of my dinner over the course of the next 2 days lol.
Here is a pic. Enjoy.
