Today for you I have a post about being my own barber.

In an effort to save money in places where it makes sense with respect to return on my investment, the price of a haircut is “hard to stomach” when I can cut my own hair for “free”.

The price of some clippers is in some cases less than the price of one haircut and I can use those clippers for multiple trims (who knows maybe a year or more).

I have been saving money in various ways and one of those ways has been to cut my own hair.

It is not difficult with a pair of clippers and once I figure out how to evenly get the back of my head I will be just as good as any salon with my current hairstyle.

I just purchased some new clippers and the idea is to actually use them in a once over fashion daily so my hair will always be fresh and clean.

Today for you I have a post about how many cleaning “supplementals” I have experimented with so far at my current apartment building.

In my closet right now by the front door there are 3 mop/broom cleaning tools of some kind all of which I may not keep in rotation not to mention all the various gloves, wipes, sanitization products, soaps, replacement heads, experimental hybrid systems and other considerations I am probably also not currently considering but I think you get the idea.

I am also excited because tomorrow (maybe if it shows up) I will have a vacuum again for quicker cleaning and a copper kettle to replace my electric kettle that is unfortunately already falling apart.

However with the Copper Kettle not only is it antimicrobial it also contains no “moving parts” or anything digital that can compromise the concept as the electric kettle has proven to have done.

Although October is the 9th month in our calendar, some consider October the beginning of the year.

It appears that the fiscal year also has to do with some form of predictions for the following calendar year in a way that it somehow can benefit from forecast whether they are correct or not with respect to financial markets and future conditions of those markets.

Today for you I have a post about the concept of a “unit of energy” with how I have been looking at food lately.

For example just a few minutes ago I took 10 chicken nuggies to the face. I consider this one unit of energy. I feel like with what I just ate I have the amount of calories (energy) available to do something like a 7 mile round trip walk however I would want to be able to eat a similar size and type meal once I returned from the walk because that would take between 3 and 4 hours and by then I would need to replenish my energy supply.

I am toying with the idea of experimenting with adding two hard boiled eggs to each meal to make sure I am hitting my protein goals as well as the other benefits of eating a whole egg (all while being mindful of how many yolks I am consuming).

I have wrote down about a dozen or so concepts recently that are somewhat new and I will be sharing them with you and “Unit of Energy” was one of them.

Today I like to say is your day because it is Sunday (Son and Daughter).

It is also gameday 🏈

Every Sunday is your day and for a certain portion of the year Sundays also include the additional element of watching football.

Needless to say I look forward to this time of year and for the last couple years Sunday has also included additional thoughts of you (even though I think about you guys every day….. multiple times 🙂 )

What I have been doing lately is waiting until 4pm on Sunday to watch all the highlights from the 1pm Football games. It is awesome.
