    I will soon be in GR and when going to and fro in the past few years I have traveled typically 60 miles there and back.

    How long it takes to visit you takes sometimes 3 hours.

    Sometimes it takes 2 years.

    I will be closer in some ways with respect to proximity and with closer until the next time I see you being neither 3 hours or 2 years but the next time I see you.

    I am always close enough if you need me.

    Today for you I have a post about the concept of doing something until it is done rather than doing something until you are done.

    Let’s say you are tying your shoes. Once you are done tying your shoes you are done.

    Now let’s say you are washing your hands. When are you done?

    There are two types of washing your hands that can be done until finished meaning “good enough” in the context of the concept.

    The.two types would be when you “feel” like you are done and the other being you have done a specific thing that once complete you are done.

    You might be done because you have washed your hands for as long as it took you to sing the “ABC’s” two times.

    You might be done when you feel like you understand the concept of “dirty hands” and “clean hands” and you have washed your hands in a way that they were once dirty and they are now clean and you are done. You might have a good idea as to how clean your hands should be after singing the ABC’s a few times that you no longer need to sing the ABC’s because after in repitions you know what it “feels” like to have washed your hands.

    Your hands feel clean after washing them after singing ABC’s because that is what you are used to when you “clean your hands” but your hand is not clean, however, it is as clean as it needs to be considering the context (how dirty and with what?) and knowing it is nearly impossible to have a “clean hand” because of the microscopic organisms that live and are on our body.

    So when it comes to “how good is good enough?” it depends on the context and it depends on you.

    Today for you I have a post about my feet.

    A few days ago I spilled pretty much boiling hot water on my foot.

    The injury resulted in a burn that was various degrees and luckily is on the top of the foot rather than the bottom.

    I have been applying first aid style treatment in an attempt to treat the injury while making adjustments with my novice approach to home medical treatment.

    A combination of things I have learned and what made sense in the moment in that context led me to choose not to go to the emergency room and rather attempt to treat it myself and if within 24 hours it appeared to get worse I would go to the Emergency Room.

    It has got progressively better each day and today I am trying to keep the wound clean, dry and move my foot every now and then so the skin does not remain untaught so that the wound can heel with a healthier scar. (like the way the front of your neck feels when you look straight up and your throat area feels “tight”. and when you look back down you feel the skin become “untaught”).

    Today what came to mind when I searched today's date was the concept of relationships that have taken a turn for unkind when both people in the relationship feel like they would rather not have conflict but there is one or both of the individuals who are approaching the relationship moving forward in an unkind way when it does not need to be unkind but probably because of the emotions present associated with what caused the relationship to have adversity the individual responds in poor fashion or not at all with respect to correspondence immediately thereafter and for however long the "beef" last regardless of no conflict ongoing only the conflict resulting in the relationship to have a different vibe. It is never soon enough or too late to lead with LOVE and show kindness to the individual even though there might be "beef".

    Today for you I have a post about consumption.

    I would define consumption as anything that passes through our body and mind.

    The things we eat and drink and even the smells well smell throughout the day are all forms of input.

    The things we experience throughout the day like what we might do at school or what we might watch on a device is input.

    Input all is received by the one who is experiencing that input and when that person is interpreting that experience this is throughput (observing and understanding) and after we think about what things we experience and begin to understand them we might want to share with others that experience and when we express ourselves to ourself or another this is output (expression of oneself) and whomever you were sharing with receives what you shared in the form of input even if that someone was you “I am doing a good job” is something if said out loud by an individual they would have heard out loud “good job” regardless of who said it and that person would know they are talking about themself but their ears still hear “good job” the way their ears would hear anyone other than themself say good job.

    Be mindful with what you consume and what you say to yourself.

    Today for you I have a post about songs that were written for something specific where the song was not the main attraction as to why the song was being recorded but recorded to supplement the main attraction like a product ad that has a theme song for the product like “Hot Pockets”.Β 

    Another type of “song” (some refer to a short song that would be used for a TV ad or something of a similar nature a “Jingle”.).

    Commercials both on a screen or audio featuring music with lyrics (words) are also songs as well as “theme songs” from various shows that include a theme song (usually observed as an intro previous to the episodes story or shortly after the episodes story begins with a “teaser” of what the episode is about and once the plot is revealed the theme song is cued.

    So there are “jingles”, “theme songs”, etc (etc means etcetera and is defined as: Etcetera (etc.) is used at the end of a list to imply that there are more items on that list of a similar nature. For example a list with pets might say “dog, cat, fish, etc” and when using etcetera at the end of the list you are also including any other pet one might think of that you did not include in addition to what was already mentioned like “rodent, reptile, rabbit” however by using etcetera you also included rodents, reptiles and rabbits without having to mention them because of the similar nature to the animals already mentioned in that they are all types of “pets” (or as we have mentioned “Animal Companions”).

    Today for you I have a post about being mindful when you find your body in an awkward position when doing something that of a sudden movement being a scenario that depending on lifestyle be any level of legitimate concern that another would find no problem at all with having considered the exact scenario only difference being the perspective of the individual’s whom considered.

    This concept is something that would be common to be expressed with elderly humans who maintain an active lifestyle regardless of the condition of their physical health.

    If one remains active more often than not the longevity of that lifespan associated with an active lifestyle is a longer lifetime and a longer period of what that body would be eligible to express and experience within that lifespan.

    This concept is usually accompanied by another concept of natural deterioration that occurs from the use of the body over the years in addition to a body that is being used while the body itself is a perishable item in addition to the modifications of time spent under gravity, exposure to radiation, exposure to the elements which erode and the low level damage that occurs in a way that is undetectable but theoretically true which each step we take when placing for down being possible if we do not see the pebble we might step on.

    This could also apply to someone who is young and healthy as well. The idea that you can move your body in ways an old person can’t says more about the old person than it does the child however just because you can move your body in ways an elderly person may not (imagine dancing while jumping up on to and off of the couch in the living room and imagine your mom’s grandma trying to copy you in a way that she attempts to do the same dance. Do you think the old lady could dance like you in the same way? It is my belief that the elderly woman who would get around using a two handed walker is likely not going to be exploding from the ground with enough force to thrust her body into the air high enough for her feet to land on the couch with enough clearance and composure to land upright on the couch in the space her feet landed? I don’t think the elderly woman would attempt to jump on the couch and just dance using her walker as a way of being able to dance with you.

    Now imagine doing the same dance but now you are holding the elderly woman’s walker that ways half of your body weight.

    Do you think you will be able to dance the same way?

    You would not be able to move your arms the same way but maybe your feet could dance the same way but what about jumping onto the couch while holding the walker?

    If you are able to jump on the couch while holding 50 percent of your body weight I think it is safe to say we have an elite athlete on our hands πŸ˜‰ If you were not able to that is normal to not be able to jump off the ground while holding half of your body weight in the same way you can jump off the ground while holding onto zero weight other than your own body weight.

    Although you might be able to jump, you might injure yourself if you were to try.

    Your body knows what it feels like to jump onto the couch.

    Your body knows from experience of having jumped onto the couch before.

    You know how heavy the walker is because it is in your hands.

    You know what it requires if you are intended to jump on the couch in order to do that and attempt to do that they way you typically would and without having attempted to do that thing in that way (while holding half your body weight) and put to much pressure on one knee by being slightly off balanced when you launched from the ground essentially causing what was in your hands to feel as if it weighed more than it just did before you launched and in an attempt to regrip the walker because you thought it would make it feel less heavy and tweak something on the leg that left the ground ever so slightly before the other leg in an unbalanced launch towards the top of the couch cushion that resulted in abandoning the attempt mid air while releasing the walker and committing in the attempt to with the presence of mind that your knee feels not pain but a pressure that if maintained you believe that would be painful so rather than finding out how far from landing in a way that you would have expected without the walker to find the safest way to get the pressure off the knee and not release the walker in a way that it results in a different result of a similar context as to why you abandoned jumping onto the couch to avoid injury.

    There is a guy known as “Knees over toes guy” that has videos on YouTube that discuss mobility and health with an emphasis on range of motion and rehabilitation of legs and knees that you might find interesting.
