I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰

Today for you I have a post about an old school video game called “Altered Beast”.

If my memory serves correct I first played the game on Sega Genesis.

At the time I had played, Atari, NES, SNES and Arcade Cabinets.

The Sega console again if I remember correctly included a game similar to NES with Mario/Duck Hunt called “Sonic”.

This was the first time there were three buttons rather than two or four in addition to start, select buttons and the D-Pad.

The game “Altered Beast” was a side scrolling action game that essentially had up to two players encountering various foes while collecting orbs until three orbs are collected and the player alters into one of four animals depending on the stage (Wolf, Lion, Bear, Dragon).

The “Boss Fights” include a number of interesting characters that includes one that throws his head at you and grows more heads to keep throwing them at you.

These games were simple in a way that once you figured out how to beat the boss it was not as difficult as “cracking the code” so to speak however each boss fight lent unique challenges to overcome similar to puzzles.

Today what came to mind was the concept of spell check in various context. If you are creating a document in any fashion and spelling and grammar is expected to be accurate, utilization of a manual spell check or via software of any kind could make sense. When sending a text for example, spell check is not necessary in a way that unless you truly believe that the other person wlll think you do not know how to spell if you were to include a "typo" in a text message chances are this is not accurate and there would be no problem. It is more likely that when someone sees a typo they think it was a typo. Only when the typo results in the message being interpreted differently "go instead of no"  would I correct the typo. I would not feel compelled to correct typos for the sake of time and comfortable with my spelling and grammar.
