Today for you I have a post about various “go to”s when it comes to international norms with various types of food.

For example beans are an interesting food with respect to how many variations you might find them in different international cuisine.

I also learned that green beans are “technically” beans but in a different stage of maturity than the dried bean the plant produces when matured.

Below are some of the top bean consuming countries with the most common bean consumed.

“They” say beans are the “magical fruit”… rather than a dad joke about beans I would ask why do you think they might have been called magical?
