Today, for you, I have a post about how I see myself in a way that if I were to use an image to say my name with the image also saying who I am in a way I believe to be true and feel as if might be a more accurate way to describe myself to another when describing who I am rather than the story of my name.
My name was given to me by my parents.
My last name represents the name of my father’s lineage (essentially where he came from with respect to his parents and his parents from their parents and so on).
This is only half of my lineage.
My other half is my mother’s lineage.
My mother’s name is not mentioned in my name the way my father’s name is.
This speaks to the culture that I was born into with respect to the template used when children were named in the United States which has remained mostly similar for centuries (first name, perhaps middle name, and last name to include any suffix like Jr. or the third (III).
If I were to name myself I would say it would have to include something about me I would want to also be embedded in the name.
“The Wolf” is the name I would use and the image used to share something about me being that of a constellation of a wolf looking back at you in the night sky in a way that the lines are connected from each star so that it would be as visible and easily located as the full moon on a clear night.
The stars represent my belief we all have a common “lineage”.
The Wolf because of the associations I have with the wolves loyalty to family and roles as leaders.
The Wolf is embedded in my name (our name) the way that the story of our name includes the wolf… as you know 🐺

Today, for you, I have a post about the concept of cross platform.
There is the concept that allows one thing that is different than another thing that is not itself being compatible with the thing that it is not in a way that it would be compatible (from whatever platform those two separate things are located that is not the same thing or in the same location) if that thing was the same as the thing that is different.
This can look like one architecture (let’s use Apple as an example, shout out Jobs) line of products that share designed overlap with the various operating systems under the umbrella of Apple’s Chief Operating System to include the organizations operations and procedures that are embedded in the Product / User experience (organizational philosophy (whether established initially or later with or without the founder being the author of philosophy.
Apple has multiple devices (products) that users would connect accounts to such as there Apple ID User account and iCloud email account.
The user who made their initial apple purchase will create an account for that user’s device that assigns that device to that user by assigning that user’s Apple ID to the device physical address (MAC address) distinguishing that specific device similar to an American’s Social Security Number.
Now to communicate with your device registered to you specifically you will need to create an email account using the native email app if you want to message users that utilize a different Chief Operating System other than Apple’s native Messages app.
Once you have created an account you can now interact with the Apple infrastructure the way it is possible given an initial common reference point as to allow user continuity across devices running different operating systems.
An iMac uses the macOS operating system and has used that operating system since its initial version and this is why I refer to Chief Organizational Operating System (includes the philosophy and technical aspects of the products intent and capability. Later Apple would use the initial OS built with the Mac being the product the operating systems was designed for with the intent to create the Apple User Experience in addition to a consumer product (home computer).
An iPhone uses a separate operating system designed by apple. This iPhone uses the iOS operating system and is built as an extension to the Apple User experience. It took years after the debut of the iPhone for the ability for user continuity across multiple devices for the first time and would later introduce Apple specific communication abilities between Apple devices that is a superior means of data transfer when both users utilize apple devices with updated software.
An iPad uses another operating system as well as the Apple Watch.
The user can be signed in to all 4 devices with the same Apple ID.
This is cross platform.
There is also “seamless” cross platform (my term) which allows you to do anything you would on any device to be possible to have that same template of experience available regardless of what device you are signed into with the same User ID.
Apple does not have “seamless” cross platform because the products do not translate with respect to product ability to function the same way the user would interact with them in order to achieve a result in the same fashion.
For example if you want to edit a video using an iWatch, it is not possible the way that is with a desktop so much so it would not make any sense to edit a video on an Apple Watch if you also have an Apple iMac with a keyboard. The operating systems theoretically could be seamless but the interface the user is utilizing having intents that would be certainly most appropriately potentially fulfilled with a device that has an intended use that is the task at hand. An example of one device being more appropriate than another for a specific task at hand is macOS native Pages app not being a native app for the Apple Watch (typing a novel on an iWatch would be far less efficient than using a keyboard on the MacOS desktop even if there was a native Pages app on the Apple Watch).
Cross platform in a nutshell is the ability to have continuity of your experience from one device to the next.
This applies to 3rd party hubs that create the potential for cross platform experiences with respect to not just devices but Architecture. This would allow Apple Users to be able to interact with PC Users in a way that the two Architectures grr are not compatible the way Apples Devices that use the same Operating System Legacy code are compatible with one another.
An example of a 3rd party hub is an organization that allows different types of Operating Systems not from the same legacy code that have coded the bridge between User Operating Systems that are not compatible with one another. By designing a interface that is observed in a similar way regardless of what platform was utilized to gain access to the server to create enough overlap to allow with a specific intent the access to the same experience to include interacting with one another that are using 3rd party hub as if Apple and PC were directly compatible without a hub.
An example of this would be Sony’s Playstation Network Users being able to interact with Xbox Live’s Users that are playing the same game in real time allowing the pool of active online players to be a larger number creating less wait times in lobbies, extends longevity of game specific community online presence (just to name a few considerations of the expansion of potential of User experience).
The ability to play with users that have different consoles allows one who only has access to one type of console wanting to play with another user who only has access with a different console than you have been made possible with the addition of the 3rd party hub facilitated an experience previously not available in the User experience.

The TDIH fact from yesterday inspired today’s question.
When did America (the United States of America) become America?
There was the “We the People” (The Declaration of Independence) which essentially said we belong to no one. Then those who claimed they belong to know one officially announced who they were with the Articles of Conferatin establishing those now free as the people of the United States of America.
Without more history of humans, here is some history of the planet (as with all historical facts other than our own it is important to keep in mind the history of another is only an alleged fact.
This is what the planet looked like millions of years ago according to wikipedia.

Today, for you, I have a post about humans doing things humans have never done… again 💪🏼
I made a post on our blog previously about the first time the Earth (the sphere/globe) was completely traveled from the place the left the ground and kept going in one direction until the came back to the place they left the ground with making any turns (theoretically this is possible however you might have to dodge some things along the way so it is not a true peffect path but it is true that you can land back to the same spot you left traveling only in one direction non stop until you reached the destination you departed from and land on the same runway you departed.
The TDIH below shares the accomplishment of the first human to have essentially achieve what I just described above and he made the non stop flight by himself with no one else on the plane.
Circumnavigation was accomplished by sea long ago that required months long voyages with an entire crew of skilled sailors to achieve certainly including the awareness prior to departing that the voyage may result in the loss of their life including every life on the ship prior to departing. Fast forward all those years later (centuries and similar effort potentially millenniums). This circling of the globe happened by air for the first time non stop decades ago by one dude by himself in a plane and did it less than 3 days.
What makes sense to me is the next thing we might see is a human circle the globe non stop riding something that is not powered. Then it would have to be just a human flying without the use of anything other than the human…. which might take a while.
I LOVE YOU❕
Below is an image of an example how different the path to circumnavigate by sea might have looked compared to the path used to circumnavigate by air.

Today, for you, I have a post about Hand Eye Coordination.
I grew up playing video games. I did not learn how to type until after I started playing video games.
It is a different shape your hand is in while you are holding a control rather than interacting with a keyboard.
Essentially both the keyboard and the controller are just buttons. Although some controllers have joysticks, others do not and the type of controllers I grew up on did not have a joystick until later.
Pushing buttons to do specific things at specific moments with the intent for the button to be pressed at that moment timed what the belief it would contribute towards the goal of the gamer playing the game (whether that goal is the “goal” of the game’s intent)
It is interesting when thinking about how our hands and eyes are incorporated into what our intent is with what could be described as a similar task at hand.
When playing a game that uses a controller (like my pre joy stick era gaming controller) and screen ,your hands are in a position where you do not need to move your hands to be able to lift your fingers off a button unless you wanted to.
Essentially whatever used to press the button remains in contact with the button or at least is not required to remove whatever pressed the button and then once again make contact to press the button.
With typing you are also using your hands and with a keyboard you are also looking at a screen.
Similar concepts, you are looking at a screen. You are interacting with what you see on the screen with the controller using your hands.
Only with typing you are picking up your fingers from one button to another if you need to use a key that you fingers are currently not touching.
The game controller has less buttons than fingers on your hands.
The keyboard has more buttons that you have fingers on your hands.
Two examples of hand eye coordination that sound similar but are extremely different with the level of difficulty going from being able to simple apply pressure to where your hand and fingers currently rest rather than to with each effort moving a rested finger to another location. This requires a separate amount of considerations and energy expenditure not to mention the learning curve of the unique mapping of the buttons labels and locations in order to be able to type without looking at the keys. Once you can type without looking at the keys you will be able to focus on what the task at hand which requires your eyes on the screen not the keyboard.
Tip: You already know how to type and there is a way that people learn which you may be familiar with utilizing a reference point for your hand position using specific keys I remember as Home Row.
I wonder what else type of Home Row tips we can come up with in your own everyday lives?!?
Who Knows… and that is exciting.

Today, for you, I have a post about something I am currently thinking about.
The concept is how do we approach answering a question that ever may be asked to you by yourself or another (approach being the how, what, when, where, why, who)
Tomorrow’s post will apply the above concept to asking a question asked by yourself or asked to another.
Attempt to establish clarity to what is being asked.
Continue seeking clarity until the question being asked satisfies enough of the following criteria for you to be willing to respond.
Only you can determine whether or not all criteria met or what essentially is required being satisfied or not to choose to begin to answer the question.
Here are examples of my criteria (currently). -What to consider -How to consider -From what I am considering (Of ALL my data available to consider , how should I reference this data? (Meta data, time frame, as an American/Man/Human/etc) -Approach to consideration (hypothetical, honest, idealistic, literal) -To the extent an expectation of level of analysis that would be appropriate in order to provide r-response and no its necessity of a necessary inclusion with consideration -If there is an expectation with respect to the time it takes to provide response -Why the question is being asked -Who is asking the question -Why you are willing to answer the question (forced, fun, conversation etc) -Expectation of the inclusion of level of confidence in response ( their own mathematical interpretation shared or opinion of their own confidence without why being necessary to include)
You do not need to consider things that would support what would only require an honest attempt to answer the question once you have determined you are willing to provide the response in a way that if there is a misunderstanding it is not expected.
Any misunderstanding should come through the interpretation the response you provided to their question unless a unique instance you did not address during clarity of question whether as an oversight or due to the unprecedented nature of the instance in which the misunderstand was on your behalf not in a literal way but in a way the opportunity for accountability is present so that with the same approach moving forward with respect to how you would answer the question continue to remain the same having a less vulnerable model. Lessons from data available post response potentially provided data that lends to the ability to prevent this occurrence in the future so as to keep the confidence in your truth and how you share that truth.
This allows you to answer the question having determined “What” is being asked and not responding to the Question without first having done would be an effort to proactively prevent a misunderstanding of both the question and or the response.
Without the considerations of the eligibility criteria you will not know what is being asked of you and the availability of knowing what to do next without considerations beyond the present moment, what to do when asked.
Otherwise each time you do not pause prior to providing a response to understand the question’s context (with respect to the concept of your response/answer to the question) you are interacting in a form of cultural conversational etiquette.
To the extent your participation in etiquette contributes to your influence on the experience of responding to a question you were asked as well as the influence of response provided is another concept we can visit.
Just something to consider… if you want.
🤟🏼

Today, for you, I have a post about FEBRUARY inspiring me by being the shortest month.
I saw the Japanese symbol for February when I was looking for a emoji to use with the title of the post (like maybe a calendar emoji pic with FEB) however there was not “February specific” emoji but there was an emoji of the Japanese symbol for the month of February “㋁”.
What it made me think about was “I wonder if it is more efficient to write out the months January through December using “our” 3 letter abbreviated version or the 12 Japanese symbols?”
Apparently when it comes to handwriting they are similar with how quickly you would be able to write each month but the Japanese calendar could require less space because the symbols are more compact.
Below are the Japanese calendar symbols for all 12 months. I am used to seeing calendars using 3 letter abbreviations like JAN, FEB, MAR and so on and I like that there is an alternative to how you might label a calendar (or any date) in creative ways. The symbols are Japanese Kanji symbols.
㋀ January ㋁ February ㋂ March ㋃ April ㋄ May ㋅ June ㋆ July ㋇ August ㋈ September ㋉ October ㋊ November ㋋ December

Today, for you, I have a post about the combustion engine. This is the same type of engine used in the cars we drive and ride in however this is a very simple yet functional version.
The terminology below is all apart of the part of the car that generates the power that gets the wheels turning.
This is the engine.
I will attempt to describe how the engine generates power.
The fuel is injected into the cylinder containing the piston. The cylinder is filled with a mixture of gasoline and air and the spark plug ignites the fuel mixture causing a small controlled explosion.
This explosion forces the piston to vertically travel through the cylinder generating force (energy) that is then transferred to the crankshaft . The crankshaft transfers the force (power) to the Drive Train (the part of the car that contains the wheels and connecting parts allowing the engine’s power to transfer to the tires on the road).
It is a very crude snapshot of how a combustion engine works but if you were ever wondering how it was possible for for gasoline to power a car this is a simple explanation of how it takes place… essentially control.led mini explosions harnessing the power of upwards and beyond 100 explosions a second to transfer to the various parts ending at the tires on the road).
I provided this simple explanation of a combustion engine the way that I wanted to learn very simple what it was and this is what I found out.
I LOVE YOU❕
The above image was created based on my description. The image below is supposed to be a mechanically accurate presentation of the concept I am sharing however this was provided via ChatGPT so keep this in mind that it is not from textbooks on combustion engines.

Today, for you, I have a post about sweaty hands.
I can get sweaty hands for various reasons. It usually will be not because my hands are too warm but because I am doing some type of activity where my adrenaline was spiked like playing a competitive video game with a tie score and only a few moments remaining in a match (slippery controller and all).
Other times it could be because I am nervous not about something in the future but something in the moment like maybe I am about to give a speech in front of a group of people.
Our bodies react in ways that are similar and also in ways that depends more on the person.
Everyone can get sweaty hands but not everyone gets sweaty hands if they are nervous.
I sometimes choose to fist bump rather than shake hands as to not leave someone’s hand wet.
There is nothing wrong with sweaty hands, just something our bodies do.
Do you ever get sweaty hands (not from being too warm)❓
