Today, for you, I have a post about the times in life when there is an open flame present along with a memory including others and the strengthening of relationships with those in our lives.

I have memories growing up that include family gatherings where there was a bonfire present and all of those memories that come to mind were a good time.

Not only were they a good time but often there would be people there (usually family) that I knew and got to spend time with in a way that it was an experience that brought us closer together by building on the relationship while including something that brought us physically together as well when surrounding the fire.

There are other moments when the open flame was that of a candle and this could be different occasions but just like the bonfires, all the memories that come to mind including candlelight are good memories.

Sometimes candles would be included during a dinner and usually that dinner in some way was a special occasion and the candles were meant to contribute to a vibe that was acknowledging the special occasion. I also like the idea of what is a special occasion to some because there once was a dinner at my friends house that included candles and their “special” occasion was simply the gathering of the family in the home for dinner so to them every night was special.

There are also memories of times when the power went out during the night and without lights the candles were used to be able to see and navigate through our house until the power came back on and this felt fun. When the power goes out it can not be a fun experience but in these cases we had a good time.

Fire can be used for many things like keeping warm when it is cold, cooking our food so it is safe to eat and also providing light to help us see. It can also be used for things that contribute to a vibe and it is those times that I associate with fond memories and special people.

Today, for you, I have a post about my upcoming decision on what car I will be purchasing… or not.

I have been waiting for the right time to get a vehicle and I have been without a vehicle for over 2 years now.

I made it through last winter getting to all the various places I needed to go relying on public transportation and walking.

There were a number of times that I had to endure the elements that made me want a vehicle but in the months when the weather is nice I could not justify purchasing a vehicle for convenience.

However the considerations have changed with our upcoming visits. Although I will be moving closer to you after next semester at the end of my lease in the time before I will need to drive from where I am to see you and back which is over a 2 hour roundtrip.

When I went to see you previously I borrowed my sisters car but this won’t be possible at the rate I will be seeing you in the near future so the time has come to get a car.

My initial thought was to get a car that would be the best deal possible that would be reliable, could fit all of us comfortably and was within my budget.

I have also considered leasing a car but at the end of the lease you turn in the vehicle and I would like to have a car that is paid off so I have both a car and no car payment.

If I get a lease I will not have the ability to have a car with no payment because you never pay it off.

It really comes down to what makes the most sense and if I do a lease it would be with the intention to get a car after that which I could pay off and keep and I would only get a lease if the deal is amazing.

We shall see what the choice will be and I am trying to wait until Black Friday to save money and potentially at the latest the beginning of next year because that is typically when you would be able to get the best deals.

I will let you know (and show you) what I decide and as of right now I am partial to a Jeep Wrangler because I use to have one and I was very fond of that vehicle.

Today, for you, I have a post about learning and let’s start with a question?

Is your favorite thing to learn something that you learn in school or at another place?

You can have a favorite school subject but that may not be your favorite thing to learn.

For example in all my classes I have taken in school ever the things I have found most interesting and fun to learn about have been things that I have researched myself.

I have learned things in school that I thought were cool or fun but whatever it is that I am learning in school can only be as fun as what the subject matter is and how it is presented rather than how I can approach learning with what I want to learn about when I want and how I want to allowing more of my influence on what the experience looks and feels like.

We can have a positive attitude when learning things that is being taught by another and we can also have fun while doing it. Sometimes the instructor presents things in a way that is interesting to us and we have fun learning but there are also times what is being presented to us feels like something that does not seem as fun as other ways we have experienced.

So what is your favorite school subject and what is your favorite thing to learn?

My favorite school subject is probably science.

My favorite thing to learn about is HUMANS and myself. Getting to know you is something that I will always enjoy the most.
