Today, for you, I have a post about catching up on old post. I have been putting the date on each post for “make up” post until it is caught up (this is Aug 01 2025) but instead I am going back to post that have not been updated and creating a new post under the original date to catch up. Then I will find missing dates and post those as make up dates rather than today’s “catch up” dated post.

Just so you know I will eventually have no less than one post a day representing every day that has elapsed since our blogs first post on September 02 2022.

Grandma Koos! Just wanted to give. Shout out to one of our founders, the great Nickie Marie Koos. Without her we are not and because of her we are we.

She has helped me (and everyone I love) more than anyone. She is the lighthouse in our family and every time I see her I say with great loving affection “GRANDMA!”

Hello my pups!

I love you all.

Water is incredible. It has so many things that are crucial for us and our planet to exist. It also can be dangerous in certain context, for example, Natural Disasters, Water that has been contaminated, water that was once present and now gone leaving behind breeding grounds for environmental toxins.

It is important to be and stay hydrated, it is important to plan for storms, it is important to keep our water clean.

When I think about conservation with respect to Water, I think about what I can do with what I am already doing in my own life. I have found ways to save on plastic (double points for preventing leeching in addition to pollution), purify my own water instead of buying store bought or even city water, drink with intention and mix electrolytes for energy and variety of flavor. You do not need to agree with any of this but if you do you also don’t need to do anything different other than maybe ask yourself what you can do with what you already have going on in your life that you may be able to help with conservation and also help yourself with awareness of the potential negative consequences associated with water.

What word do you think was made up first, Hola or Adios? (Hello or Good Bye)

I was just thinking about when humans were coming up with language if hello or goodbye was thought of and created first. What do you think?

I am going to guess it was probably Hello because that is what you would want to say to somebody if you knew how to once you were within speaking distance and then maybe good bye for us to end our engagement with a pleasant note and a way of acknowledging the end of the conversation formally.

If I were on an alien planet and I didn’t know how to speak the language or even use my body language I would use my eyes and say, “I come in peace”. If I was trying to speak with somebody in America and I didn’t know their native tongue I would speak with my ears so that they knew I was listening.

My eyes say what my heart feels and my ears say the echo of love
