Today, for you, I have a post about H for Hobby.
I find it interesting that the way to say hobby in Spanish and French both look like the word “past time”.
Some people make their hobby into a job and or career. Most just enjoy passing time with a hobby.
My hobbies include writing, listening to podcast and music, writing music, playing video games and learning.
I do not consider spending time with family, cooking or yoga hobbies because although fun, they are not to pass time but important for my well being (family most important).
My oldest hobby is probably listening to music or playing video games.
My most recent hobby is drawing.
Other hobbies of mine are chess, content creation and daily life optimization.
What is your current favorite hobby?

Today, for you, I have a post about G for Galaxy.
I have made several post about the cosmos and today we have another one, specifically about our galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy.
I have taken some photos at Dark Sky Park in northern Michigan of the Milky Way and those photos are among my favorite ever captured.
Here are some interesting facts about our galaxy: 🌌 1. It’s Huge! • The Milky Way is about 100,000 light-years wide and around 1,000 light-years thick in its main disk. • It may contain 100–400 billion stars!
⸻
🌍 2. Our Solar System is way out in the suburbs • We’re located in a quiet area called the Orion Arm, about 27,000 light-years from the center of the galaxy.
⸻
🌀 3. It’s a barred spiral galaxy • The Milky Way has a central bar-shaped core with spiral arms curling out from it—like a giant cosmic pinwheel.
⸻
🕳️ 4. There’s a supermassive black hole at the center • Named Sagittarius A* (pronounced “A-star”), this black hole is about 4 million times the mass of our Sun. • It doesn’t suck everything in—it just sits there, warping space and time.
⸻
🌟 5. It’s constantly moving • Our entire solar system is orbiting the Milky Way’s center at about 514,000 mph (828,000 km/h). • One full orbit takes about 225–250 million years—called a galactic year.
⸻
🌠 6. It’s full of invisible stuff • Much of the Milky Way is made of dark matter—an unknown form of matter we can’t see but can detect by its gravity.
⸻
💥 7. It’s going to collide with another galaxy • In about 4 billion years, the Milky Way will merge with the Andromeda Galaxy to form a new, larger galaxy (often nicknamed “Milkomeda”).
⸻
🔭 8. You can see it with your eyes • In very dark skies, the Milky Way appears as a milky band of light across the sky. That glow is the combined light of millions of distant stars.
⸻
🧪 9. The name comes from ancient myths • The term “Milky Way” comes from the Latin “Via Lactea”, which comes from the Greek “Galaxias”—meaning “milky circle.” • Greek myth said it was Hera’s milk, spilled across the sky!
⸻
🧬 10. We’re not alone in it • The Milky Way contains billions of planets, and scientists estimate that at least 300 million of them could be in habitable.
What was your favorite galactic fact? Mine was the galactic year fact.

Today, for you, I have a post about F for Family.
There is a picture of 5 generations of our family in a single photo. It includes your great great grandma, great grandpa, grandpa, me and you.
The fact you met your great great grandma is awesome and I have the photo next to photos of you as a reminder of where we came from and the family who was responsible for our existence.
You have ancestors from all around the world. We are Americans and we really are a great example of an American having such diverse and native composition.
I was born a stones throw distance as you were born or an hours drive from where you were born. Our ancestors at some point traveled from the other side of the earth for us to have been born where we arrived and I think that is pretty cool.
I love my family and I love you the most.

Have you ever been somewhere when you noticed an echo and felt like you wanted to hear yourself echo? Sometimes I will notice sounds echoing and I will shout or yell “Hello!” because it is fun and free.
An echo is basically a sound that bounces off a hard surface with enough energy remaining to still be audible when it travels back towards you.
Some animals rely on echoes to navigate. Examples include bats, dolphins (you may remember this from the previous post on D for Dolphin) and even some humans who are deaf (hearing impaired) have learned to use echoes to assist them with navigating space.
Sometimes echoes can make a different sound than the sound that caused the echo.
There is a pyramid in Mexico built by the Mayans that makes a sound resembling a bird chirp when you clap your hands at the base of the pyramid facing the stairs. The pyramid was built over 1,000 years ago and it is believed this echo chirp was intentional with the design of the pyramid which is pretty amazing considering the technology at the time of construction and that the pyramid still stands today chirping.
Here is a video of the chirp echo:

Today, for you, I have a post about D for Dolphin.
Dolphins are interesting animals and are one of the few oceanic creatures that have worked alongside humans.
I have never seen a dolphin in the wild (I may have seen some dolphins but just the fins in the distance) but one day I will.
Here are some interesting facts about Dolphins: 🧠 1. Dolphins are very intelligent • They have large, complex brains and show signs of self-awareness, problem-solving, and empathy. • Some dolphins have even been seen using tools, like sponges on their snouts to protect them while foraging on the ocean floor.
⸻
🗣️ 2. They have names for each other • Dolphins use unique whistles to identify themselves—sort of like names. • Other dolphins can call them using these signature whistles.
⸻
👩👧👦 3. They live in social groups • Dolphins live in groups called pods, usually made up of 10–15 individuals, but sometimes hundreds. • They form strong social bonds and often cooperate to hunt or care for each other.
⸻
🌊 4. They can hold their breath for several minutes • Although dolphins live in water, they are mammals and breathe air through a blowhole. • They can hold their breath for 8–10 minutes on average (some species even longer!).
⸻
👶 5. Dolphin babies are born tail-first • This unique adaptation helps prevent drowning during birth. • Newborn dolphins can swim right away and stay close to their mothers for milk and protection.
⸻
📡 6. They use echolocation like sonar • Dolphins emit clicks and listen to the echoes bouncing off objects to “see” with sound. • This helps them navigate, hunt, and even identify objects from far away.
⸻
💬 7. They communicate with clicks, whistles, and body movements • Dolphins slap their tails, leap from the water, and use many sounds and gestures to express themselves.
⸻
🐬 8. There are over 40 dolphin species • Not all dolphins live in the ocean! Some species, like the Amazon river dolphin, live in freshwater rivers.
A group of Dolphins is called a “Pod”.

CONSTANCIA / CONSTANCE = “CONSISTENCY” IN SPANISH 🇲🇽 / FRENCH 🇫🇷
I LOVE YOU 💓
Howl you doing❓
I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰
Today, for you, I have a post about CONSISTENCY for letter C of our alphabet series.
The definition of consistency is something done with similar and regular repetition (my words). We wake up every morning and consistently use the restroom soon after as an example of consistency.
I use this blog as a way of consistently reminding you how much I LOVE YOU and to remind me what is important… you (I don’t need a reminder of this but it feels good to remind myself of something that is true that I am grateful for).
If you are consistent with anything, try to make it something that will consistently be in your best interest. Whether it is for your own good or that of another, your best interest can sometimes include someone else in a way that it is your best interest.
For example if I am available for you if you need me, this is in my best interest. It can be in your best interest to support your community however never at the cost of your well being.
Sometimes we may feel obligated to help but never feel pressure to help, just help when you can and when you want to.
You might agree that when helping another also helps you this is a win/win situation.
Consistency in life to me looks like consistently trying to get better.
Consistently trying.
Trying to do better.
Trying to do better foryourself.
Trying to make what you can better.

Today, for you, I have a post about our “B” post and it stands for BOOK❕
A book seems like it has only a few components to consider with respect to each part that makes up a book (cover, spine, pages etc) but there are more than I thought especially with hard cover books.
Here are all the parts of a book physical as well as the sections of a book (like a Title Page for example and their descriptions:
📕 External Parts of a Book Cover The outside surface that protects the pages; can be hardback or paperback. Dust Jacket A removable paper cover (usually on hardcover books) with artwork, title, and synopsis. Spine The narrow edge where the pages are bound; often displays the title and author. Boards The rigid part of a hardcover book’s cover, beneath the outer material. Hinge The flexible area between the spine and the boards that allows the cover to open. Back Cover The rear outside part of the book, often with a summary or author photo. Headband / Tailband Decorative cloth bands at the top and bottom of the spine (more common in hardcover books). Flaps The inner folded sections of a dust jacket (usually contain author info or quotes).
📄 Internal Parts of a Book Endpapers (End Sheets) The pages that attach the inside of the cover to the first and last pages of the book. Flyleaf A blank page at the front or back of the book, next to the endpaper. Front Matter The beginning pages before the main content (see breakdown below). Body (Main Text) The core content of the book — the chapters or primary narrative. Back Matter Content after the main text (see breakdown below). Gutter The inner margin where two pages meet at the spine. Margins The blank spaces around the text on a page.
📚 Front Matter Breakdown (before the main text) Half Title Page Displays the title only. Title Page Displays full book title, subtitle, author, and publisher. Copyright Page Contains copyright info, edition, ISBN, and legal disclaimers. Dedication Page Where the author dedicates the book to someone. Table of Contents Lists chapters and page numbers. Foreword An introduction written by someone other than the author. Preface Written by the author, explaining purpose or background. Acknowledgments Gratitude to those who helped with the book. Introduction Optional opening to the book’s content (can be part of the main text).
📚 Back Matter Breakdown (after the main text) Epilogue A final section that wraps up the story. Afterword Commentary by the author or another person, often about the book’s creation. Appendix Supplementary material or data. Glossary Definitions of terms used in the book. Bibliography Sources used or recommended for further reading. Index Alphabetical list of topics and where to find them in the book. About the Author Short biography of the author.

LIBÉLULA / LIBELLULE = “DRAGONFLY” IN SPANISH 🇲🇽 / FRENCH 🇫🇷
I LOVE YOU 💓
Howl you doing❓
I hope everything is GREAT with you and at home 🥰
Today, for you, I have a post about the “Dragonfly”.
I have always liked dragonflies. They are similar to another of my favorite insects the Praying Mantis in the way that when you notice one it holds your attention.
I have seen various types and sizes of Dragonflies over the years and this morning I seen another one and decided to make a post about it.
I briefly researched what type of Dragonfly I saw (pictured below) and I believe that it is a 12 Spotted Skimmer, a species commonly found in North America.
Here are some interesting facts about Dragonflies:
✅ Ancient origins: Dragonflies have been around for over 300 million years — they existed before the dinosaurs! Some prehistoric relatives had wingspans over 2 feet (60 cm).
✅ Master fliers: Dragonflies can fly in all directions — forward, backward, straight up, and even hover like a helicopter. They can also change direction instantly.
✅ Incredible hunters: Dragonflies catch 95% of the prey they go after, making them one of the world’s most efficient hunters. They eat mosquitoes, flies, and even other dragonflies.
✅ 360° vision: Their huge compound eyes cover most of their head, giving them nearly 360-degree vision to spot prey and predators.
✅ Aquatic childhood: Dragonflies lay their eggs in water. The young (called nymphs) live underwater for months or even years before becoming adults.
✅ No stingers: Dragonflies don’t sting humans and are harmless to people — they’re beneficial because they control mosquito populations.
✅ Symbolism: In many cultures, dragonflies symbolize transformation, change, and adaptability.
Do you like Dragonflies❓
