Today, for you, I have a post about a new segment on our blog that will be replacing yesterday’s soon to be updated post explaining why.

The new segment is going to be a rehashing of previous “This Day In History” however rather than a fact associated with that date it will be something I observed when searching the day’s date in the search bar and see what results pop up.

I will be rehashing the TDIH segment.

The term rehash in the context of our blog I would define as revisit with the intent to interpret differently .

Some of the results are actually the specific date from last year (which is cool having actually historical reference on our blog of historical dates now available in a way that anything historically was available now being apart of that same “universe” as historical archived data.

What was noticed: "Wheels on the Bus" and "Retro Upgrade" were post associated with today's date
What came to mind: I think of the upgrades that car's have gone through since they were introduced and what some of those innovations that were introduced later having themself evolved significantly since introduction like the car antenna for example. Initially it was adding the ability to have something like AM radio. Later antenna's include cellar and satellite antennas. It could be possible that someone could see that "upgrading" would not buying the latest evolution of that model but the model that is new to them and in a way the new car has upgraded the label "used car" to "new car".  In another way the modern bells and whistles might not appeal to someone who would only want the ability to commute so stripping the vehicle down would upgrade their financial freedom and the car would be more retro.

Today, for you, I have a post about wrapping up the “This Day in History” in the current form due to the fact that when researching facts to. use each day the sources that I would reference I providing redundant or uninteresting results.

For the sake of keeping the segment interesting I will be using previous TDIH post from our own blog to create a unique post on what was observed when searching our blog with the current day’s date and using the results that are provided as inspiration as to what I will include in that segment for that day’s post.

Today, for you, I have a post about some of my favorite “piano” songs inspired by today’s TDIH.

When I say piano song I mean a song that includes piano not just a song only on piano however some of the songs on the list can be played only on piano in a way that is captivating.

Today, for you, I have a post about something I was thinking about and that is the concept of the difference between Credit and Accountability being perhaps more of a difference in perspective rather than definition.

Accountability often is associated with honesty and consequence.

Credit is often associated with praise and success.

Phrases like “Giving credit where credit is due” and “lack of accountability” to me speak to any accomplishment being a debate with respect to how far back one should go and or whom should be included with considerations to those that come to mind when paying respect or that would be acknowledged in the way one thought was appropriate.

When it comes to accountability or blame usually if the person blaming is not blaming themself, the blame is something one would not want to be included regardless of the truth in any involvement out of fear of potential perceived consequence or consequences.

There are some who would attempt to avoid consequence by omitting or denying any involvement with a specific accusation or event transpired with actions assigned to their identity yet any level of involvement whatsoever could be enough to justify an entitled belief of equal credit or the “lion’s share” of the credit (the most influential with respect to desired result obtained) and wanting to have that same identity attached to what would be praised.

I was not expecting to play chess together today while we were hanging out and this is something that I wanted to do.

Just a reminder on the “Castle” concept we talked about earlier.
