Today for you I have a post about the presence of a temporary conductive medium.

What made me think of this concept was when I was cooking my first meal of the day I (breakfast) I was preparing potatoes with some sausage using the fat from the sausage as the “lubricant” for the potatoes not to stick to the bottom of my pan at that heat.

I realized the meat was lean and the amount of meat was around 2 ounces uncooked at the amount of potatoes I put in the pan was too much for the amount of fat that would render from the pork.

I added some water to try to stretch the fat out in the pan in addition to the steam it would provide however it was still not enough.

Eggs came to the rescue in the form of the yolk.

The potatoes came together similar to an uncooked dumpling and then with little fat remaining pan fried the portion, seasoned and then enjoyed.

The moment the fat from the potatoes was in contact with the heat reminded me of the time period with what was available at that heat was what it was and that next time I would incorporate more fat or commit more time at the low heat.

Today for you I have a post about something I might have done for the first time today.

Today I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same place via takeout.

It is a Mexican restaurant right down my street and each timeI walked to pick it up and with the weather today it was hot and humid enough that each time I returned to my apartment I was sweaty.

The food after jazzing it up (adding salt, pepper and HOT sauce) I did not stop sweating for a few minutes at least after the meal had concluded.

By the way each meal was as delicious as the next.

A chorizo breakfast taco, shredded beef enchiladas for lunch and for dinner carne guisada (all very delicious ~ siempre may delicioso).

Today for you I have a post about spending time with your grandpa (my dad) on his 61st birthday although the reason we were hanging out more than anything else was to watch the new Spiderman movie at the theater.

The movie was great and then we had pizza which was even better with respect to time spent with one another. (I sent you a video with grandpa looking confused to you today when I was saying hello with my daily video greeting).

Today for you I have a post about revisiting a game from my childhood that I was able to (still am) in a modern way while keeping the nostalgic vibes.

It has been so long since I last played there will be probably more parts I will be reminded of or even feel new while still having the ability to look forward to certain memorable moments.

It’s also funny that the game I am playing was originally on xbox (microsoft) and now you can play Halo: Combat Evolved on Sony Playstation.
