I have learned and continue to find out more about love everyday. I could say I love you, I love me and I love the SUN and they all are love but hold separate spaces in my heart. To me when I say I love you it’s unconditionally and in its purest form. When I say I love me I mean trying to find a way to improve on loving myself and fellow humans. When I say I love the Sun, I mean I love whatever higher power of love that observes every moment of our lives. Love is everlasting and to last forever is to love first and love last.

I hope this day has not and will not include any needless suffering. What is it in your life or on your mind that you would like to know more about? Sometimes we aren’t able to satisfy our curiosity with our own resources so we might ask somebody or research in order to find closure. One thing along the path to closure to consider is that not all answers have the same integrity. Keep in mind financial interest, culture, the context geopolitically for these have more influence over your direction that you might not now understand.

When I was growing up I thought America was a certain way. As I got older, I realized though I am glad to be an American, we aren’t aren’t always doing what you would hope for. We are unique and beautiful but who knows how this experiment turns out. My point is I learned one way about America from your grandparents, my teachers and the media. Now I know not what I was told, but what I know now is from what I see and feel.

It is up to you to continue to explore your curiosity and with your own judgement replace ideas that you once thought to be true with experience then intuition.

As a father I often feel compelled to share some type of information with you that I believe may be of interest or if ever needed, help in some way. I do this lovingly and with consideration. In my experience I have found that listening is the purest form of speaking. In order to best articulate what comes from your heart, you must first listen to know what it is that you want to express. I am always here to listen.

Have you ever noticed how you can’t just stop while running? It takes a few steps to slow down to a full stop. This can be something that works for or against you. It helps when you need just a little bit extra when you want to stop as far ahead as possible. It can also be what causes you to take too many steps before you needed to stop. With each consecutive action you add momentum to that action… whether the action is positive or negative.

You know how people say there is no such thing as a stupid question? First off, this is true. Always be courageous with your curiosity. Second, there is no such thing as too many questions. If you ask a question and you are given an answer that you are not satisfied with, it’s not only ok to keep asking more questions but it does a disservice to your courage of first asking. Persistence in curiosity leads to discovery.

Have you ever heard everything is black and white? This usually means that something is either one way or the other. Only two options to choose from. But what if you mix black and white? You are left with gray. Gray Matter is what our brains are comprised of. Most of the time people say what they believe to be black and white is actually a choice that they are forcing with their own Gray Matter. It’s often not the first place we start on a divisive issue, but with enough time spent mixing, it becomes a potential new color that looks good on all of us.

Do you know what a crutch is? Have you ever seen somebody who was injured and had to use assistance to get around? Maybe a wheelchair? Maybe a cane? I know you have seen them before but did you know they all help in a similar way. They allow whatever part of your body that needs to recover to have extra rest so they can heal faster and more comfortably. Did you ever think about what happens if someone never stops using assistance with getting around? They will eventually become so weak that other parts of their body will try to help the injured part and now because of this, new injuries may occur. Left long enough, the assistance could cause permanent damage. A crutch is meant to be temporary. If we need help, it’s ok. But, when you are strong enough to stand back up, let somebody else who needs assistance use it.

I love you. I love me too. Sometimes I do things that make it harder for me to love myself. If I do something and it makes me feel bad, I try to make sure I don’t do that ever again. This is how you can turn a mistake into a lesson and love yourself again the way you always should. Just keep trying.

I am very grateful that there are many ways that I can show you that I love you. I can tell you with my voice. I can show you with my words that I write down. I can show you with my eyes when I look at you. I can show you with things I do when you don’t see me. I can tell you how much I love you in many ways. You make me feel happy and filled with love. Know this my pups, the way that you feel is important to me. So when I tell you I love you, you can know that you can always tell me how you feel. No matter what. I love you.

Today is FRIDAY! Does Friday mean anything special to you? Most people think of Friday as the end of the “work week”. Some people get excited because they have several days in row where they can have plans and things to look forward to. You can be excited about Friday and you can also be excited for every other day with the same appreciation. I like to think of my “first” day of the week by way of he moon phase. New moon is my Monday. Full Moon is when the night is the brightest. You can make things special as long as it has a special meaning to you .
