Today for you I have a post about the concept of “walking the walk”.

There is a saying “Don’t talk the talk, walk the walk”.

I am paraphrasing a bit but essentially the phrase speaks to the concept of leading by example rather than through authority.

If one were to constantly talk about the importance of something and then regardless why not follow through with that thing they would not be “walking the walk” but “talking the talk”.

If that person were to do that thing mentioned or declared rather than just talk about it, they would be “walking the walk”.

For example if I say I am going to hold doors for those who are only a few steps away when I open a door in public and when I have an opportunity to hold a door open for someone only a few steps away, I would be “walking the walk” and I would only be “talking the talk” if when I opened the door and noticed someone heading to that same door only a few steps away and ignored them.

Today for you I have a post about exploration and making a good time.

Today I enjoyed one of the best fried rice dishes while “exploring”.

I drove down a road that has a number of mom and pop food options that I have yet to try and today I found a little gem that also offers pool tables.

I will be going back or at least I definitely would.

As for the remainder of the evening, I will try to find one more mom and pop spot I can get some protein that was not present in my previous meal the way I would normally experience.

I am going to take the summer off of school having gone the past 4 semesters in a row and with the last semester having some “technical issues” I thought summer off sounded nice.

I was considering going camping in between leases however I have reservations because of public perception of someone without a lease or mortgage being a “vagrant” or “squatter” even though I can clearly afford both a lease or a mortgage.

Today for you I have a post about the concept of “fresh air”.

Fresh air to some means stepping outside. For others it could mean opening a window to let in some “fresh air”. To others it could mean consuming air from a container of “fresh air” (maybe canned O2 oxygen).

To some the concept could apply to the taste of the water stored in the fridge. Considering the air mixture that is inside the refrigerator that contributes to why the taste of the water is such when storing it in said fridge.

Anyway,

the post today was meant to make you think about air quality with respect to the concept of fresh air.

Today for you I have a post about my new old phone.

It is a flip phone aka a dumb phone aka a feature phone aka NOT a smartphone.

However, I do still own a smartphone I just do not currently have it in my possession because it was potentially. and probably stolen a couple weeks ago roughly.

There are those that will see a flip phone and think it is less than a start phone but I must still you technology is funny.

in the last two sentences the keyboard itself, (not me) has mistyped no less than two words. Above it says “start phone” and I ty pet “smart phone” and just before “smart phone” in this sentence I typed the word typed and it autocorrected it to ty pet (lol) technology sucks still.

]It is ok but for example, not ok. because its literally can not type words accurately like I can.

It is still not there yet like I am.

Today for you I have a post about a tactic when using a alpha numeric keyboard that includes the 0-9 number pad.

When using the “home row” technique in typing, it does not include the number pad.

The “number pad” as a concept was originally something accountants would use with a calculator in similar fashion to home row in a way that the mapping of the interactions is done with the fingers as multiple numbers (the first finger is perhaps 1, 4, and 7 and second finger being 2, 4 and 8 and so on with respect to that unique map of the accountant).

When typing on a keyboard that includes both the numbered and standard keypad, you can do a version of home row on both pads to create a “seamless” interactive experience that lends to optimizing work flow.
